whale/nature cruise. This is an invitation for anyone else that wants to join
us on June 4. The info describing the cruise is shown below as it was posted
in our monthly newsletter.

June 4 (Sunday) 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Whale/Nature Cruise from La Conner
The cruise departs directly from La Conner for a full day discovering nature
with special emphasis on Orca (Killer) whales in the San Juan Islands. There
will be an emphasis on birds as well. Normal cost is $79 + tax, including
lunch. With 30 or more people that we expect, we get a special rate of $55 +
$4.29 tax = $59.29 total, without lunch provided. This is $4 less than past
years. So bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee will be available. To sign
up call Viking Cruises at 1-360-466-2639 to make a reservation. They will
collect $59.29, in advance, either by credit card or a check sent to Viking
Cruises, PO Box 327, La Conner, WA 98527. Plan to arrive at Viking Cruises
office by 9:30am to check in. Viking Cruises is one block north of Nasty
Jack?s Antique Store on First Street. For those wishing to carpool, meet at
Kingsgate P&R by 8:00am. Passenger cost/person is $5.00.
