Cottonwood Be d at *#$! To H#(( with the fuzz!
I mounted my bike and hit the trail. I actually rode my way out of the
cottonwood blizzard and found some interesting birds.
First time sighting of a BULLOCKS ORIOLE along the Green River Trail near my
apartment. A very striking bird, especially when contrasted against bright
green leaves.
Several TOWHEES along the trail. They announced themselves and made
themselves easy to find.
A couple of BELTED KINGFISHERS bragged about their catches or bemoaned the
one that got away.
A GOLDFINCH passed through my back yard the other day
Down near the Super Mall I spied two COMMON YELLOW THROATS - The warblers in
black bandit masks!
Lots of Redwing Blackbirds
A young RED TAILED HAWK
A talkative BEWICKS WREN
That's about it Tweeties! Time to OD on the benadryl.....
