Hi folks,

Spent the weekend in Seahurst ('Coastal Burien'), King County. Too
busy to do much serious birding, but.....

29 May 2000 - A short, late-morning walk along the beach to Three Tree
Point and back on the "Indian Trail". I didn't see a lot of exciting stuff,
but 'twas a nice walk. Good view of the young eagle.

Red-throated Loon - 2 flying toward Blake Is.
Great Blue Heron - 1 catching minnows at waters' edge
Pigeon Guillemot - 2 in alternate plumage
Bonaparte's Gull - 2 in basic plumage
Glaucous-wing (+ hybrids) Gull
Caspian Tern - Including one adult catching and carrying a herring-
sized fish north (to the Everett area!??)... where're they nesting?
Canada Goose - flock of 18 B.c. moffitti
Mallard - pair
Surf Scoter - 5 ratty-looking non-breeders flying toward Des Moines
Bald Eagle - 1 bird entering 2nd year plumage
Rock Dove
Band-tailed Pigeon
Rufous Hummingbird
Belted Kingfisher
Pileated Woodpecker
Red-shafted Flicker
Crow
Steller's Jay
Olive-sided Flycatcher
