This mobbing behavior is common with all birds. Red Wings are fisty
little birds, swallows mostly the barn swallows also attack falcons, crow
and accipiters. It is pretty funny to watch them mobb bigger birds. The Red
Wings always get a few if not a lot of nips on the primary feathers of
crows.
