Does anyone know the location of a spotted owl in an old growth environment
that is amenable to being photographed? I am not interested in
photographing owls that will be stressed by the presence of people.

I am writing an article for a major publication on indicator species and
their role in assessing the health of an ecosystem. Since the spotted owl
has received a lot of notoriety, I would like to use the spotted owl to
explain how the owl is used to evaluate the health of the old growth forest.
