Hi Tweets,
Here is a bit late report of happenings at Montlake Fill,Marymoor Park,
Seahurst Park, Black River Wetland on Sat 10/28/00 and Sun 10/29/00.

Montlake fill : 10/28/00
Guess how many Ring-necked Pheasant are there ?
I saw total 5. 2 males, 1 Female, 2 Juveniles. Parents were teaching them
how to look for food etc. When parents were a little away , they(Juveniles)
were calling them. It was very intersting to see the family walk together.
Then as the males came closer, they started to judge each other, and were
acting to attack each other but never touched actually. It was going on for
almost 15 minutes. Then bot walked silently to different directions.

Ring-necked Pheasant, 5
Steller Jays, 4
Ruby Crowned Kinglet, 1
Annas Hummingbird Pair : again I saw male doing that 'J' display.
Northern Flicker, 2
Belted Kingfisher, 1
