Late results of the October 7th Wesport Pelagic, which turned out to be our
final scheduled trip of the year, as the October 8th trip was weathered out.

Highlights included 5 Flesh-footed Shearwaters, nearly 50 Pomarine Jaegers,
among the regularly seen species. The cetacean show was great, as we had
Pacific White-sided Dolphins and Northern Right Whale Dolphins riding the bow
for about 5 miles, and also close views of a pod of Risso's Dolphins.
Also seen in the inshore waters going out, 1 Franklin's Gull, and on the
Westport Jetty coming in were 2 Rock Sandpipers among the usual scattering of
Surfbirds and Black Turnstones.
