Hi Tweets:

Friday afternoon Bev and Hugh Jennings and I were returning from Lord Hill
Regional County Park in Snohomish County via Monroe-Duvall-Carnation Road
(Hwy 203) when we made a swing past the Monroe Honor Farm north of Duvall.
We were pleasantly surprised to see 5 Trumpeter Swans and about 40
Long-billed Dowitchers at the farm's pond.

Our 4-mile walk through Lord Hill was enjoyable even though the absence of
signage along the trails made it difficult to know where we were going. We
saw about 13 bird species, including a Ruffed Grouse, female Belted
Kingfisher, many kinglets and Winter Wrens. A Pileated Woodpecker seen on a
power pole near the main road to the park started our day off right.
