I saw something this morning I have never seen before. A Humming bird
landed on our birdbath out back. I thought the water was a little low
for him/her to reach it, assuming it was going to drink. Low and
behold, he dived in. The bird spent a minute or two there and was in
and out of the water several times. I expect this is not all that
unusual, I've just never seen it before.

We still have a Fucia in the garden that is loaded with bloom that
attracts the birds, Anna's I think but I haven't learned how to
identify them for sure.
