The feature birds are RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER and SNOW BUNTING.

Saturday, November 4
A RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was in Tynehead Park, north Surrey.

A SNOW BUNTING was at Maplewood Flats, at the edge of the mudflats on the
east side of the park, at 11:45 a.m.

The WILLET was at the base of the Tsawwassen ferry jetty, and 2 BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS were along the jetty.

For the past several early mornings, a BARRED OWL has been heard calling to
the NW of the Lougheed Mall, Burnaby.

Small numbers of BRANT are being seen at Beach Grove, Tsawwassen.

Friday, November 3

Two late TREE SWALLOWS were at Reifel Refuge. Still in Delta, 3 SANDHILL
CRANES were along 34th St.

Of interest is a pale grey NORTHWESTERN CROW, associating with ordinary
black crows in the vicinity of 248 St. and 54 Ave., Langley.

November 1

An adult light morph SWAINSON'S HAWK was seen soaring over the UBC Botanical
Garden at 1:30 p.m.

The BAR-TAILED GODWIT was relocated at the base of the Coalport jetty, south
side, along with a MARBLED GODWIT and many BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS.

The female TUFTED DUCK and an EARED GREBE were again on the Iona Island
Outer Pond, and the male CINNAMON TEAL was on the marsh pond to the north.

On Sea Island, a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was with CANADA GEESE behind
the horse farm.
