Saturday, November 4th, 7:23 PM. Hi this is Jim Flynn at 253-941-3358 and I
just wanted to report that the IMMATURE RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was still on
Spencer Island. Saw it today between about 4 and 4:30 and it was in the same
basic area where it had been seen before, which is about a couple hundred
yards north of the barn if you walk on the dike trail. You can actually see
it from the barn area, but it was easier and more closely seen from just
north on the dike. That?s it. Thanks.

Sunday, November 5th, 9:12 AM. This is Vic Nelson. I forgot to report that I
had a NORTHERN SHRIKE on Minder Road, which is about 4 or 5 miles from
Kingston on Highway 305, on the east side Highway 305. This is earlier in the
week, like last Wednesday or Thursday. Also, yesterday, at Point No Point,
Saturday, the 4th of November, I had a first winter BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE, a
couple of ANCIENT MURRELETS, one PARASITIC JAEGER (which was also here this
morning), and one LOON which had a white band kind of characteristic of a
possible ARCTIC LOON, but it was a distant look and I couldn?t locate it in
the boat when I went out to try and get a closer look. There were also 40 or
50 PACIFIC LOONS here this morning and several COMMON LOONS, along with
BONAPARTES, HEERMANS and GLAUCOUS -WINGED GULLS.Thank you, Good Bye.

Sunday, November 5th, 9:50AM. Hello, this is Craig Kemper, at 206-789-9255
reporting for Sunday, November 5th, birding Spencer Island in Snohomish
County. Pat Kemper and I relocated the RED-SHOULDERED HAWK at about 7:55AM
and observed the bird for approximately a half hour. Bird was located in a
wood lot east of the boundary between the Hunt/No Hunt zone north of the dike
trail north of the barn. The bird was more easily seen, observered 50 to 60
yards south of the sign reading "15-shell limit". Thank you.

Sunday, November 5th, 2:09 PM. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. Today Dennis
Duffey and I had about 24 ANCIENT MURRELETS, in three separate groups off
Edmonds pier, between about 1:15 and 2:00. Also, yesterday, in the town of
Richfield, I had a WHITE-THROATED SPARROW by the creek and had a HARLAN?S
HAWK at the Richfield River Unit. That?s it. Good luck and good birding.
