On November 1 an adult WHOOPER SWAN accompanied by an adult TUNDRA SWAN

Summer Lake SWA display pond along Highway 31. They are irregular but are
still being seen.

On November 4 a PARAKEET AUKLET flew past the Boiler Bay Viewpoint near
Depoe Bay. The BAR-TAILED GODWIT at Jackson Bottom in Hillsboro continues
to be seen but it is very elusive. A BLUE JAY is now being seen in the
Columbia River Gorge at White Salmon Washington.

There were several reports of SHORT-EARED OWLS during the week including
one flying over northeast 24th and Broadway Streets in mid-town Portland.
TUNDRA SWANS arrived in numbers during the week.

On November 6 nine PALM WARBLERS were seen near Cape Blanco. The next day
a BOBOLINK was in the same area. At Millicoma Marsh near Coos Bay
November 4 a HARRIS'S SPARROW, 4 WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS, 3 SWAMP
SPARROWS, a NORTHERN SHRIKE, and a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK were seen. Nearby
were a CATTLE EGRET, a SNOWY EGRET, and some GREAT EGRETS.

Heavy PACIFIC and RED-THROATED LOON movements were noted during the week
off Boiler Bay. On November 8 over 1000 FULMARS and a LEACH'S
STORM-PETREL were there. A SWAMP SPARROW was at the Warrenton Sewage
Ponds November 5. Two have been near the Astoria Airport all week.

A RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was at Ridgefield NWR November 1. A LARK SPARROW
was found November 3 at Minto-Brown Park in Salem in the same area one
wintered last year. A MAGPIE is now in Monmouth. It is being seen around
Monmouth Avenue and Clay Street. Two TRUMPETER SWANS were seen near
Airlie November 6.

An AMERICAN TREE SPARROW was at Fern Ridge Reservoir November 7. Another
was seen the same day in the Rogue Valley north of Central Point.

On November 7 two BARROW'S and two COMMON GOLDENEYES, 50 BUFFLEHEAD, and
