The Satsop (Eastern Grays Harbor) CBC will be on Saturday December 30 this
year. It is a fairly new count only started 2 years ago but covers some
great areas, including Brady Loop, usually skipped by birders heading
towards Tokeland, Westport, or Ocean Shores. Two years ago a Northern
Mockingbird, Gray Jay, numerous Scrub-jays, and a possible Clay-colored
Sparrow were seen. Last year the count almost didn't happen and we had too
few participants and missed the Rusty Blackbird that had been hanging
around.
