There was a Snowy Owl early this afternoon in the middle of the huge open
space set to be "The Enclave" at the Golf Course at Newcastle. Beautiful
adult bird. I happened on it from the approach from the old "Lazy
Porcupine" trail (now defunct) from Cougar Mtn Regional Wildland Park just
off of the Red Town trailhead at the intersection of Coal-Creek Newcastle
Road and Lakemont Blvd. (Newcastle is the small city between Bellevue and
Renton east of 405 along Coal Creek Parkway).

Beautiful adult bird that just sat there for the twenty minutes I observed
it. Unfortunately I am going out of town early tomorrow and won't be able to
check to see if it is there in the morning. Hope others can find and enjoy!

A regular invasion?!
