This is Kas Dumroese with the Northern Idaho / Eastern Washington /
Northeastern Oregon bird hotline for Friday, Nov 10 (2000).

A HARRIS'S SPARROW was at Two Rivers County Park in Benton Co, WA on Nov 9
according to Dennis Rockwell. The bird was along the east end of the nature
trail. Two Rivers park is located along a mile of Columbia River shoreline
east of Kennewick directly across the river from Sacajawea State Park and
the mouth of the Snake River. From WA 397 east of Kennewick, travel east on
Finley Road 2.1 miles to the boat launch parking lot at the east end of the
park. Walk west on the nature trail about 100 yards. WA DeLorme 39, C-8.

At Swallow's Park in Clarkston, Asotin Co WA last Sun, Nov 5 were a 1st
winter MEW GULL and a 1st winter THAYER'S GULL along with an assortment of
Herring, California, and Ring-billed gulls according to Charles Swift. The
park is south of Clarkston along WA 129 and the Snake River. WA DeLorme 43,
AB-8.
