Tweets,
A quick update on the TUFTED DUCK at Bingen. This afternoon between
12:30 and 1:00 PM it was a good half mile or more *upriver* from where
one might expect it from instructions given on OBOL last week. From the
Bingen Marina at the end of Maple St., go to the point at the far e. end of
the Port of Bingen property and look upriver. The bird was with about
9 Lesser Scaup just past the furthest group of tall pilings. It took all of
64X in a good scope to distinguish it. I walked the dike that runs along
the river there and got a close look. However, it was only after exiting
the
dike that I noticed a No Trespassing sign (oops!!). Hopefully this bird
will
return to public property soon.
