I've led a somewhat cloistered life for the past few years with my new
mothering responsibilities and I've (obviously) lost touch with the world of
birdwatching today. I wondered if you could tell me what you meant by this
statement and what the NGS is. Also, and this question is for anyone, if I
were interested in learning more about bird identification and in getting
guided field experience, how would I do that? Where should I go or look?
Also - this Sibley guide that everyone is raving about - can I pick that up
at any major book sellers?

Thank You
