Birded the Olympic Peninsula with Charlie Wright and Mike Andersen, starting
at the Edmonds ferry dock today. Highlights included 5 Ancient Murrelets
from the ferry crossing, 1 Ancient Murrelet at Point No Point.
1 gray phase Gyrfalcon and 2 Peregrine Falcons at the Game Farm north of
Sequim.
1500 Pacific Loons in the strait,
40 Black Oystercatchers at Tongue Point.
23 Eurasian Wigeon at scattered locations. including 5 birds feeding
alongside the Emperor Goose at Lincoln Park in Port Angeles
