Birders,

The DUSKY THRUSH, first seen on November 22 at Whitehorse, Y.T., was
still there on November 24. Perhaps others will show up in the
Northwest this winter?

DUSKY THRUSH 1 / AMERICAN ROBIN 0

The DUSKY THRUSH visited the Mountain Ash in front of Hellaby Hall on
Elliott Street in Whitehorse throughout the day on November 24. The
bird
visits the tree every 15 minutes. Otherwise it sits in the adjacent
pine
tree. PLEASE GIVE THIS BIRD ROOM. Also, respect the activities at
Hellaby
Hall. The Dusky Thrush's arch-rival, the American Robin was nowhere to
be
seen today.

OTHER SIGHTINGS:

A MOURNING DOVE flew over the Alpine Bakery in downtown Whitehorse at
5 pm
on November 24. It could be at any downtown feeder or weedy spot.
