Folks,

Lovely day down in Ocean Shores today -- no wind, thus no certain
Pterodromas during our two-hour midday vigil. Based on wheeling flight, we
possibly saw one out at the horizon and another a little closer (which also
showed a bright white breast), but neither were much more than specks that
quickly vanished behind the huge swells. A few Fulmars were the only other
seabirds of interest.

We did see the Tropical Kingbirds again today, 2 along the canal behind
and just north of the Bo Jo Deli at 11:30, 1 between the marina and the
Discovery Inn about 2:30.

The Snowy Owl was on the spit west of the base of Damon Pt., roosting
among the driftwood.
