Hi All,

I too saw a large flock of geese - several 100 - this morning (Sat). Mine
were flying south over the ship canal near the locks, three large ragged
vees almost at the cloud ceiling. I wasn't able to ID them but they sounded
like Greater White-fronted Geese, they had a high pitched, kind of musical
sound. I also have been seeing movements of Steller's Jays across the canal,
almost always south from the top of the Giant Sequoia to the taller firs in
Commodore Park, sometimes just a few, twice 10, once 18, all in a few
minutes of each other.
