And today, in an active quarry pit at Grand Mound, I saw 1 white goose with
3 Canada Geese. I think this is really becoming quite common, last year by
the Centralia Steam plant there was a large gray type domestic goose with
the big knob. Two years ago, out behind the Chehalis Airport, there was a
white domestic goose that apparently couldn't fly. But he had an absolute
ball coming wayyyyyy across the fields to associate with the wild birds.
