September 26, 2000, Tuesday, 6:43 a.m. Hi, this is Vic Nelson. Yesterday
at Point-No-Point I had an adult SABINE'S GULL in the evening in alternate
plumage, and the day before the adult LONG-TAILED JAEGER was also here.
There were also 5 or 6 PARASITIC JAEGERS present yesterday and still a
couple hundred COMMON TERNS. Thank you.

September 30, 2000, Saturday, 12:37 p.m. Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow.
Today Dennis Duffy and I birded Discovery Park and Montlake Fill. There
were a few birds moving, but it was pretty slow. The most interesting birds
were actually 300 CACKLING GEESE circling around over Discovery Park and 12
WHITE-FRONTED GEESE at Montlake Fill in the bay. There was also a couple
late lingering YELLOW WARBLERS and that was about it. Good luck and good
birding.

October 1, 2000, Sunday, 5:29 p.m. Hi, this is Tom Aversa, at 782-7342.
Reporting from North Seattle yesterday, which was the 30th of September.
There were quite a few flocks of GEESE flying over Woodland Park Zoo here.
At least 70 WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in one flock and the other flocks I didn't
really get IDs on. It could have been CACKLING GEESE or WHITE-FRONTS.
Today there was quite a movement of VARIED THRUSH, counting at least 35
VARIED THRUSH come through the park early in the morning.

October 2, 2000, Monday, 10:31 a.m. Oh, hello, this is Steve Pink, phone
number (425)649-0601. Yesterday, Sunday afternoon at Snohomish sewage pond,
the AMERICAN AVOCET was still present. There was also one SOLITARY
SANDPIPER, a PECTORAL SANDPIPER and that's it. Good luck and good birding.
