Hope this isn't too frivolous a subject for Tweeters but I'm truly concerned.

For reasons too numerous to mention, we have decided to move to North
Carolina. For the last 19-20 years I have done everything I could to
encourage the 54+ birds I've managed to identify to visit our two acres on
the Sammamish Plateau.

HOW DO YOU SELL YOUR HOME TO POSSIBLE NON-BIRDERS??

I feel like I'm abandoning good friends! I've even arranged to keep feeders
and bird baths full while away on vacation.

Has anyone out there addressed this problem? Do you leave the feeders, #50
of sunflower seed, the recipe for hummer food, suet, binocs and a birdbook,
hoping it "takes" before the #50 is gone? I'm serious! Anyone out there got
any ideas?
