Probably because it's so far away right now. From what I've heard, crows do
seem to be particularly susceptible but maybe that's because they're so
noticeable. I suppose you could determine the fatality rate in crows by
either lab experiments or looking for wild crows with antibodies (indicating
they had gotten the disease and survived).

Assuming the disease makes its way across the Rockies and if Seattle has a
mosquito population big enough to sustain an outbreak, the effects would be
interesting, considering the extraordinary density of crows in the city.
