Hearing on appeal of mitigated determination of non significance is set for
10:30AM, October 30, 2000, room 152, Thurston County Complex, Building #1.
The hearing is open to the public, but testimony is allowed only by parties
to the appeal. Parties are the applicant and Friends of Nisqually and the
Nisqually Indian Tribe.

Hearing on approval of a special use permit to construct asphalt batch plant,
will be held Novenber 9 and 20, 2000, beginning at 6:00P, banquet room A
and B, Lacey Communitiy Center, 6729 Pacific Avenue SE, Lacey. Live
testimony by interested parties may be given, and written testimony, if
received before 5:00PM on the business day before the hearing, will be
accepted.

Both hearings are before the county hearing examiner. Copies of staff report
on the declaration appeal are available one week prior October 30, and of the
staff report on the application one week prior to November 9, 2000. For
