Hello Tweeters,
This rainy morning Nancy LaFramboise and I birded by car in the easterm
portion of the Horse Heaven Hills, south of Richland. Our most welcome
birds were:
Rough-legged Hawk, 1, first reported for this fall in this area, on Nine
Canyon Rd.
Northern Shrike, 1, near the intersection of Badger Canyon and Plymouth
Rd., probably also a first fall sighting here.
Western Bluebird, 8, near the location for the NOSH. not seen every
year here.
American Pipit, at least 15, Coffin Rd.
