A brief visit to the Lummi Flats on a showery, late afternoon yesterday
turned up an adult male dark-morph and an adult female light-morph
Rough-legged Hawk along Hillaire Rd., and an adult Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk
along S. River Rd. between Slater and Haxton.
A female Tufted Duck was still on the outer pond at the Iona Ponds near
Vancouver, B.C. A couple of quick stops on the Samish Flats were good for
loads of N. Harriers near the Samish "T" and two Merlins on Samish Is.
