Tuesday, October 17, 9:00 PM. Hi, this is Brett Forester. My phone number is
(425) 519-6550. On Saturday the 14th at about 9:30 AM I saw a NORTHERN
HAWK-OWL. It was on the east side of Snow Peak on the Kettle Crest in Ferry
County Washington.

Friday, October 20, 7:07 AM. Hi, Tom Aversa at (206) 782-2742 reporting on a
trip yesterday to western Whatcom County with Brenda Senturia and Steve
Gerstle. At the Lummi Flats there were at least 8 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS and an
adult HARLAN'S HAWK. At Semiahmoo Spit there was a LAPLAND LONGSPUR. In the
Dayton Harbor area there were two AMERICAN WHITE PELICANS and there was a
drake AMERICAN-EURASIAN WIGEON cross. There were also good shorebirds there;
over 20 GREATER YELLOWLEGS, there was a LONG-BILLED CURLEW and a MARBLED
GODWIT, along with at RUDDY TURNSTONE and a NORTHERN SHRIKE. We also found
another NORTHERN SHRIKE over near Lake Terrell.
