Birding at Fort Flagler State Park on Marrowstone Island I discovered my first Oldsquaw of the season. It was quite far out in the water toward Port Townsend. There were also Harlequins, Red-necked Grebes, Horned Grebe, Scoters, Common Loons and lots of gulls. Probably could have seen more things if I had gotten out of the car and gone for a walk down the spit. Harlequins can be found here year around and Oldsquaws every winter.
