Columbia Estuary Report - 10/22/2000
The TROPICAL KINGBIRDS had not been seen Sunday as of 1130hr.
Steve Warner last saw them Saturday at about 1800hr. They may
have taken advantage of the very pleasant weather and moved on.
The MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE is still being seen with BLACK-CAPPED
CHICKADEES on 17th and Holladay Dr. in Seaside.
Five GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE and 2 CACKLING CANADA GEESE
have taken up residence at the Mill Pond site of the Neawanna
Wetland. A black juvenile PEREGRINE FALCON was seen there on
10/22.
A NORTHERN FULMAR was seen during seawatch on Saturday at SJCR.
There was also at least one LAPLAND LONGSPUR and a heard only
SNOW BUNTING.

Mike Patterson Alas, to wear the mantle of Galileo,
Astoria, OR it is not enough to be persecuted
celata at pacifier.com by an unkind establishment,
you must also be right.
