After years of trying to see this bird from the S.F bay area to Ocean
Shores it finally payed off. I went to Ocean Shores at 9:30 am and did'nt
leave the Discovery Inn area till I spotted it at 1pm. I located the bird in
the feild directly across from the Discovery Inn at the end of the boardwalk
near a small rock jetty in the bay. It was fly cacthing from the top of a
few trees in the area. I wacthed it for about 10 min. before a N. Flicker
chased it and it flew towards the Silver King Motel and landed on a telephone
wire for a bit then flew off. Brad Wilson Puyallup WA.
