Hi, Tweets

Migration time is on! Not full swing for turkey vultures anywhere yet, but
many hawkwatches across the country are reporting interesting stuff.
Waggoner's Gap in Pennsylvania reported 45 osprey and 99 sharpshins (plus
others) for August. The Hazel Bazemore watch in Corpus Christi has the
numbers plus the interesting migrants: Aug.18th, 74 Mississippi Kites, the
19th, 339 MIKI, the 20th, 375 MIKI, and the 21st, 118 MIKI. On the low day
of Aug.18th, for a diversion, they counted 200 anhingas (plus other
stuff)!! One can only imagine . . .

beautiful parks in Washington. I won't guarantee vultures, but there's lots
of other good stuff to see.

Cheers, Diann
