.....And I'd like to add a ring-necked pheasant for the Fill today. (And lots
of turtles sunning on the logs in the bay.)

Also, as part of our group walk at WaterWorks Garden in Renton last week,
Ethel Williams spotted a green heron. (Hi Ethel!) I didn't see the green
heron on two return trips last week, but Mark Sakagami, senior gardener
there, said the heron is a new visitor and is more likely to be seen when
it's sunny out and the frogs are sunning themselves.... There were lots of
waxwings by the upper pond one evening this week.
