Hi Ya'll
I am in California right now on a little vacation, but I thought I would
mention some of the highlights of a day spent birding with Steve Mlodinow
yesterday in Grays Harbor County:

Buff-breasted Sandpiper - 1 fly-by at the Damon Point Pond

Pectoral Sandpiper -
1 fly-by at the Damon Point Pond
7 at the Game Range
1 flying bird at Tokelnad
2 at Brady Loop Road pond

Baird's Sandpiper
4 at the Game Range

Bar-tailed Godwit
3 birds in with the Marbled Godwits at Tokeland

Stilt Sandpiper
Juvenal bird at Brady Loop pond at 5:30PM

American Golden-Plover
1 bird at damon point pond
1 bird at Game Range

Red-necked Phalarope
1 bird remained at Hoquiam STP

Black Swift
36 birds in the air at the Ocean Shores STP

Good movement of migrant passerines, with many immature Yellow Warblers
encountered in Tokeland, Ocean City SP, Hoquiam STP, and also Black-throated
Gray, and Wilson's Warblers.

Immature Golden-crowned Kinglets encountered at Ocean City SP

I'm leaving off a bunch of stuff, but thats what a 14 hour drive does to a
person.
Good Birding!
