Hi Tweets,
This place is just 15 minutes from Downtown Seattle, yet I have not seen
many birders out there. You might get surprised at the number of species you
might find there!

Here is a list of birds I have seen there. I went there on Fri 9/1, Sun 9/3
and Mon 9/4.

American Robin
American Gold Finch
Barn Swallow
Belted Kingfisher (2)
Black-capped Chickadee
Cedar Waxwing
Common Snip (1)
Great Blue Heron
Greater Yellowleg (2)
Lesser Yellowleg ? not sure, size very small compared with Greater Yellowleg
Green Heron (6+)
Green Wing Teal
Hawk , not sure which, flew overhead
House Finch
Killdeer (10+)
Mallard
Marsh Wren
Northern Flicker
Osprey (3) one landed on the muddy area in the river!
Pied-billed Grebe (1)
Red-Winged Blackbird
Steller's Jay (5)

Sanderling (5)

Note : Yellowlegs were seen on all three days.
1 Common snip was seen on 9/3 and 9/4 at
the same spot.
There were few Garter Snakes also!
