September 1, 2000, Friday, 5:57 p.m. Hi [recording cut-off].

September 3, 2000, Sunday, 3:09 p.m. Hello, this is Kraig Kemper, (206)
789-9255, reporting for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, September 1st, 2nd, and
3rd. On Friday, September 1st at Damon Point at Ocean Shores, I located one
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE at Damon Point Pond along with a handful of LEAST
SANDPIPER., and on the inland side or the marina side at Damon Point, one
AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER and 3 BAIRD'S SANDPIPER. On Saturday, September 2nd,
after the deep-water pelagic trip out of Westport, I went to Bottle Beach
late in the day on the outgoing tide and located one juvenile BUFF-BREASTED
SANDPIPER foraging on the upper beach with a flock of WESTERN SANDPIPER.
This bird was relocated Sunday morning, again on the outgoing tide, along
with BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER, SEMIPALMATED PLOVER, one SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER,
WESTERN and LEAST SANDPIPER, TURNSTONE, etc. On my return trip home, at the
Brady Loop Road farm ponds, I located one STILT SANDPIPER originally located
by Bruce LaBarr and Bill Tweit on Friday afternoon. The bird was in the
company of one LESSER YELLOWLEG, one GREATER YELLOWLEG, 4 PECTORAL
SANDPIPER, 5 DOWITCHER and a GREEN HERON. Thank you.

September 3, 2000, Sunday, 4:51 p.m. Mark Brenneger, (206) 361-1654. On
Sunday, September 3, I saw an AMERICAN REDSTART at the Montlake Fill on the
northeast corner of the fill. Probably around 2:00 p.m., I would guess.
That's it. Thanks.

September 4, 2000, Monday, 3:32 p.m. A NASHVILLE WARBLER down at Discovery
Park about .4 of a mile south of the visitor's center in the willow scrub
near the play area around 2:00 p.m. on Labor Day. Reported by Mark
Brenneger 361-1654.
