Seattle Audubon Society presents:
Gardening for Wildlife workshop
////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Tuesday, September 19th, 7-9pm
Camp Long in West Seattle
5200 35th SW

"How can I landscape for wildlife?" The answer may be different than
you think! The diversity of life in our urban areas reflects the
landscape practices and plant choices of urban gardeners. In fact, most
urban "habitat" is located not in public parks, but in the yards around
private homes.

Please join the Seattle Audubon Society for an introduction to creating
a garden for wildlife. The 'Gardening for Life' workshop
educates and inspires citizens to adopt wildlife-friendly practices at
home in their yards. Come and learn about "beneficial" insects,
alternatives to pesticides, cultivating a "sense of place," the best
plants for native Northwest gardening, and the relationships between
your garden and the birds that live there.

Bring your family and friends to share this experience!
The workshop is free and open to the public.
Refreshments and shade-grown coffee will be served.
