Sightings for Sunday, September 10:
A juvenile RUFF was seen at the northeast pond at Iona Island along with 2
STILT SANDPIPERS. The WANDERING TATTLER continues to be seen at about the
2.5 kilometer mark along the south jetty. Also on the jetty was a HORNED
LARK, and 2 PARASITIC JAEGERS were at the tip. A RING-NECKED DUCK was in the
outer pond.

Two HEERMANN'S GULLS were seen on the breakwater at Robert's Bank Marina. A
MARBLED GODWIT was at the southwest corner of the Robert's Bank Jetty.

Langley's Heritage Park had 1 TURKEY VULTURE and a GREEN HERON.

There was a NASHVILLE WARBLER at the Ranch Park area of Coquitlam.

Saturday, September 9
The seasons first SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER was seen in the West Field at
Reifel near the tower. Also in the area were 2 STILT SANDPIPERS, a
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, and a MARBLED GODWIT
..
A PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER was at the Compensation Lagoon on the Tsawwassen
Ferry Jetty.

In a pond in Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey there were 3 STILT
SANDPIPERS.

The Iona sewage ponds had 4 STILT and 3 BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS and a BANK
SWALLOW and a RED-NECKED PHALAROPE was at Iona Beach and 2 HORNED LARKS were
along the South Jetty.

A MARBLED MURRELET and a LONG-BILLED CURLEW were at Blackie Spit.

An AMERICAN KESTREL was on the Robert's Bank Jetty and a HEERMANN'S GULL was
at the Compensation Lagoon on the Ferry Jetty.

Friday, September 8:
The REEVE was seen between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon in the West Field
at Reifel, along with a STILT SANDPIPER and a RED-NECKED PHALAROPE.

Five RED KNOTS were on the southwest corner of the Robert's Bank coal port
jetty.
