I just picked up a copy of Kenn Kaufman's NEW bird guide. It is a
photographic guide in which the photos have been digitally edited by the
author to show field marks. The text is not in checklist order but grouped
into sections of similar looking birds(warbler,sparrows, etc). It is
probably the best photographic guide for North America that is currently
available and is only $20.00!
