Thursday morning we met Tom Munson at Creston, had breakfast and then
headed south 10 miles to Swanson Lakes.

On our way down there we saw several NORTHERN HARRIERS, one WESTERN
KINGBIRD, one SAY'S PHOEBE, some imm. WHITE CROWNED and SAVANAH
SPARROWS. Just before we arrived at the lakes we got good views of a
PRAIRIE FALCON. At the lakes there were AMERICAN PIPITS everywhere!

Other birds of note were:
DOUBLE CRESTED CORMORANT
LONG BILLED DOWITCHERS
SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPER
WESTERN SANDPIPERS
one SOLITARY SANDPIPER
and lots of "brown ducks"
