For your information, Thurston County Development Services is recommending
~denial~ of the permit to build an asphalt plant in Nisqually Valley at
the Holroyd Gravel Mine site.

Those of us who wrote to the county about this can take some comfort that
our communications made sure the county knew people were watching. And I'm
sure the locals who attended the various meetings had a great impact on
the decision.
