A possible LITTLE GULL was on the opposite side of the channel
from the wildlife bunker at parking lot D, Ft Steven St Pk this
afternoon.

I was scanning for shorebirds and found a small gull that was
about half the size of the Western/GW Gulls near it. It was
wading around like a Bonaparte's Gull. Not following my own
advice, I did not have my field notebook with me to take notes,
so I went back to the truck to get it. When I return (+/- 5 min)
it had gone.

The following sketch is based on what I remember of the bird,
drawn from memory.

Also in the area was a single MARBLED GODWIT, 300 SANDERLINGS,
MEW GULL, RING-BILLED GULL, CALIFORNIA GULL.

you must also be right.
