Mike,

Thanks for bringing migrating butterflies to my consciousness. It made me
pay more attention when I saw two butterflies on our butterfly bush and
alder saplings. I got out my books and watched two beautiful Monarch
butterflies visit for awhile. It has been many years since I'd seen
Monarchs. Last time was when I was a child in Wisconsin. Or maybe I just
hadn't taken the time to notice. Not many birds out today except the
Stellars Jays, Chestnut-backed chickadees, Black-cap chickadees and a
red-breasted nuthatch.

Thanks,
Nancy
