September 18, 2000, Monday, 7:30 p.m. This is Vic Nelson. Today at
Point-No-Point, at the northeast tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, I had 15 or 16
PARASITIC JAEGERS on early afternoon. There was also one adult alternate
plumaged LONG-TAILED JAEGER in with the PARASITICS. There were also a few
hundred COMMON TERNS still in the area and a few RED-NECKED PHALAROPES.

September 20, 2000, Wednesday, 11:08 p.m. Paul Hicks here, (360) 264-2462,
reporting for Monday, September 18th, Tokeland/Westport area. At Tokeland,
at least 2 BAR-TAILED GODWITS were still present. At the Westport jetty,
some highlights would be 2 RUDDY TURNSTONES, a PACIFIC GOLDEN PLOVER. At
Bottle Beach, 6 SPARROW species and a SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPER. At the Elk
River bridge, 6 GREAT EGRETS. For Saturday, the 16th, one first for the
season, RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET. That's it. Good birding.

September 21, 2000, Sunday, 9:09 a.m. Hi, this Jesiah (?) Clark from San
Francisco and in Seattle, along the western bank of Lake Washington. In the
Madrona district there was a TOWNSEND SOLITAIRE flying over to the north
with a group of ROBINS, and buffy wing patches in the wing were really
obvious and a long tail, and a picture perfect bird, but it was flying
fairly high and fast to the north. And that was in the yard of Hugh and Sue
Clark, who are also birders, but they have never seen it in the air, so I
figured it would be worth a report. Good birding.

September 21, 2000, Sunday, 2:32 p.m. This is Dennis Duffy. This morning
there was a juvenile SABINE'S GULL in the Edmonds waterfront.

September 22, 2000, Monday, 3:29 p.m. Hi, this is Greg Toffic. This
afternoon at the Snohomish Water Treatment Plant there was a single AMERICAN
AVOCET. Good luck and good birding.
