Just returned from a visit to Montlake Fill (7-8:30AM 4/1/01). After
reading Michael Dossett's Tweeters message dated 3/31, I thought it would be
fun to try to duplicate his experience of seeing EURASIAN WIGEON, EURASIAN
GREEN-WINGED TEAL and PALM WARBLER in one trip to the Fill. The ducks were
pretty easy to find this morning. However, it took nearly an hour to find
the warbler. The cap is turning chestnut and the throat is turning yellow.
And the bird is now singing.

All 3 times I have seen this bird it seems to have favored the end of the
pond nearest the parking lot. To those in search of this bird good luck;
and thanks to Michael for his Tweeters posting.
