Possibly the EAGLES were dining on afterbirth from the cattle? I've
certainly seen vultures waiting patiently for this when the sheep are
lambing.

Went looking for Sno. Valley Vultures this p.m. where they're often seen

Falls City, but couldn't find them so I went north past Nestle/Carnation
farms and Sikes lk. where I watched a cow give birth yesterday. Amongst the
