Today, Apr 4, we found a adult (probable male) SNOWY OWL on private property
about 4 miles SE of Boardman, Morrow Co, Oregon. p85 A6.
Although public access is not allowed, we report because it is a record late
date
for this area, beating an old Mar 31st sighting.
No idea whether a migrant or wintering bird, but it was very active at
midday, once flying over a mile SW for no obvious reason. Last seen sitting
on
an irrigation circle in a wheat field.
