On Saturday nine birders, including a couple from New Jersey, enjoyed an
ELWAS field trip. We took the ferry from W. Seattle to Southworth, followed
the shoreline to Port Orchard, walked the trails at Theler Wetlands, and came
back by way of Purdy and Snake Lake Nature Center in Tacoma. We had a total
of 56 species.
