The Sandhill Crane flocks remain in the Othello area, and are expected for
another week or two. A carcass recently salvaged from Big Bend Community
College in Moses Lake appears to be either Greater or Canadian Sandhill
race, both rarer in the state than the common migrant Lesser Sandhill. Two
male Eurasian Wigeon remain at Migraine Lake on Columbia NWR.
